May 15, 2008 “100 acts of kindness in 100 minutes”


 Family, friends, and complete strangers joined us in downtown Biddeford as we attempted 100 acts of kindness in 100 minutes! Each volunteer randomly selected kindness assignment cards to complete within 100 minutes.






















April 15, 2008  “24 Hours of Kindness”

     On April 15-16, Michael and his Kindness Crew spent a full 24 hours on the streets of Southern Maine (without sleep!) looking for anyone that could use a helping hand. Some of the acts of kindness performed included: buying coffee for strangers, paying for movie tickets and city bus rides, helping move appliances, handing out balloons, flowers and cookies, visiting schools and nursing homes, working in soup kitchens, and helping feed the homeless. Over 200 acts of kindness were performed within 24 hours...

     On May 29th, The KindnessCenter traveled to Cape Ann which is a community located about 30 miles northeast of Boston. Teaming up with Loretta Peres of Sustainable Cape Ann, they led a group of youth onto the streets of Glouscester for a night of random acts of kindness. After an hour and a half on the street, everyone returned to kindness headquarters to share their heartwarming stories. It was another life changing night for the kindness crew...
