Chase, founder of The KindnessCenter, teaches students that there are seven choices which can create lasting happiness and success in life. Through emotionally charged stories of his own struggles as a teenager and young adult, Michael reveals how making empowering choices helped to make all of his dreams come true. By focusing on creating a culture of kindness and compassion at school, this powerful talk directly addresses the problems of exclusion, bullying, and substance abuse. Michael’s high energy and youthful spirit also motivates students to make a greater difference in the world while also improving the quality of their own lives. The KindnessCenter’s goal is to make your school the kindest school in your state. Our program was designed to create a change in behavior throughout the school year and beyond. With a measurable system that records acts of kindness, you will notice an immediate increase in positive behavior among students and teachers alike. This program is also a powerful tool to eliminate bullying and conflict. Rather than being “against” bullying, we offer a positive alternative, which creates a healthier learning environment. Each student will be inspired to cultivate positive qualities towards themselves and others.
